A.  PERFORMANCES

Performances are a very important part of your child’s dance education, growth , and development.  This is when the children get to show what they have learned.  It is also a great source for building self-esteem and confidence.  However, these performances are optional to you.  If you prefer not to have your child participate, please let us know well in advance.

Dress Rehearsal is mandatory before performances.  If your child does not attend dress rehearsal, he/she will not be permitted to perform (unless special arrangements are made.)

Each year we have a Winter and Spring Recital.

B.  BILLING

Registration requires completion of the registration form, front and back, for our files, payment of first month’s tuition and a $20 registration fee per student, or $40 per family.  The registration fee is non-refundable for any reason.

Monthly tuition is due the first class of each month.

A $5.00 late fee will be charged if regular tuition is not paid by the 10th of the month.

A $10.00 charge will be applied to returned checks.

Tuition must be paid in full by each recital we have or the student will not be allowed to perform.

If your tuition is more than two months past due, your child may be asked not to participate until the bill is current.

The mail drop in the studio door can be used for your convenience or you may drop your check addressed to the studio in your nearest mailbox.  Please do not place cash through the mail drop.

C.  COSTUMING

A $25.00 costume deposit fee, per class, is due by November 1st.

The remainder of the costume balance will be due the first week of February.  Any costume not paid in full by February will be charged a $10.00 late fee per costume.  Late fees will be waived only to families with more than one dancer who are making consistent monthly payments towards costumes.

Costumes, as well as tuition, must be paid in full, before the student will receive his/her costume(s).

Costumes will not be ordered for dancers who have not paid their deposit and therefore will not be able to participate in the recital.

D.  ATTENDANCE

Prompt and regular attendance to class assures your child the greatest success.

Tuition is not pro-rated for missed classes.  Make-up classes are available for any missed classes.  Please make arrangements with the instructor and the front desk if a make-up class is desired.

You have one month after the missed class to make up that class.

E.  CLASS PLACEMENT

Class placement is determined by level of training, ability and age groups.  During the first two weeks, children will be evaluated to determine correct class placement.

Classes are subject to change depending on enrollment.

Company groups and classes are a privilege.  Admission is by audition only.

F.  PROPER DANCE ATTIRE

Please make every effort to see that your dancer brings the required shoes and comes dressed appropriately to every class.  We stock these items in the studio, and special orders can be made to simplify this task for you.

Cover-up garments should be worn to and from the studio, and dance shoes should never be worn outside the studio.

Please mark all belongings with your dancer’s full name.  The studio is not responsible for any loss of personal property or valuables.
